FloorFundi is a Cape Town-based, owner-managed company. I have 31 years’ experience, specialising in concrete surfaces and all floor finishes and their maintenance.
My focus
My key focus during a site visit is to assess the condition of old and new floors in the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, with a view to extending the life of these floors, and consequently the property.
Part of the on-site assessment includes evaluating the effectiveness of the current maintenance cleaning systems.

A comprehensive report detailing my findings
Recommendations for the most suitable service provider(s) to quote for treating your floors
If required, details of outsource companies will be provided
Recommended cleaning equipment system suppliers
A comprehensive maintenance cleaning programme, including system training and schedules
Within ten days, follow up on the recommendations made and the actions taken to ensure ongoing client satisfaction
Service Provider Specialties
Treatments for new and existing concrete floors:
- Anti-dusting application
- Polish and anti-dusting application
- Polish, anti-dusting hardener application and coating with a water based sealer
- Grind to different levels of aggregate exposure, polish, apply anti-dusting hardener and coat with a water based sealer
- Re-furbish existing concrete to an agreed finish using the above treatments
Preparation grinding of concrete to receive treatments, for example:
- Application of polyurethane and epoxy coatings
- Application of polyurethane and epoxy screeds
